U.S.G.A. RULES ARE IN EFFECT ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING……..


  1. Men will play from the WHITE tee markers

            Ladies will play from the TEAL tee markers. 

  1. All golf car paths; service roads and dirt paths used to drive the golf cars on will be treated as obstructions.  This will include the rocks and gravel that are on or near the surrounding areas.
  2. The course markings are as follows:
    1. White stakes and boundary fences= out of bounds
    2. Red stakes= lateral water hazards
    3. Yellow stakes= water hazards
    4. Blue stakes= natural or waste areas
  3. The U.S.G.A. system of low back nine, low back six, low back three and #18 will be used to break all ties.


Format - Captain’s Choice:

Each player will tee off; the team will then choose the best drive of the foursome.  Each player will then place their ball within a club length of the chosen drive and play from the chosen spot.  The team will then choose the best shot and each player will play from the chosen spot.  This will continue until the ball is holed.  Note if your drive is in the rough, you must stay in the rough, if your drive is in the fairway, you must stay in the fairway, etc.  The team will have one gross score on each hole.


After Play:
Immediately following play, bring your scorecard to the scoreboard where we will score the event and announce the winning teams.  Food will be served after your team has turned in your scorecard.

Enjoy a great day of golf and know that your are supporting local Good News Clubs in reaching children with the Gospel. These Good News Clubs are held during the school year and during the summer. Last year's tournament was an amazing success and we invite you to join us this year. We are planning for 28 foursomes. Meals, prizes, and a chance to take the trophy will be offered to every golfer. There will also be side games, mulligans, breakfast, and lunch. Cash, credit card, and checks will be accepted at the event or you can pay online or by mail. We look forward to seeing you the first Saturday in June.
